Free Cherry
Last hunting season I found a nice big cherry burl on a dead tree that was still standing. We had our camp work day this past weekend so I cut down the burl while I was there. I already had a nice cherry log that my neighbor gave me about three months ago. A friend of mine told me about a guy that could cut them and his mill was only a few miles from my house. Since I had the burl on my trailer I figured I would load the log and get them cut.The guy that milled the wood for me had a really cool setup and he only charged me $40.
