Hello everyone. I’m new to LumberJocks and wanted to start off by introducing myself. I’m starting my own small shop in Yonkers, NY. Initially it will be for small projects as a hobby, but would love to transition to something for profit. I worked under a Master Woodworker in Charleston, SC for a year a learned a great deal. My current tool inventory is unfortunately pretty small. I have an old table saw my father-in-law gave me (it definitely needs some TLC and a good tuning) and purchased a 13 Dewalt Planer. I don’t yet have a jointer and am trying to decide on how big to go, 8-10” would be nice, but 12” would be great. I’m just trying to justify the cost. So that’s a little about me. Hope to have some pictures posted soon of the projects I completed in Charleston.
Have your say...
