Last month I picked up 300 bf of Madrone. It’s mostly shorts and it is VERY “Rustic” that is it’s knotty and has plenty of checking. But it is nice wood if you have the time to to mill it or you are looking for a rustic look. I was going to cut it up into cutting boards but I acquired much better boards for it. I have an overload of wood right now and just need to make some room!!
The boards are 4-6 foot long and 4-8 inches wide and it’s all 4/4.
