My shop is small, but I am able to make do with it for now. The pictures of the shop are from December when I was wiring , and still setting up the shop so please excuse all the dangling wires (they weren’t hot at the time). As you see in the picture, my table saw is a Hitachi that I like pretty well. As you can also see, I am working without most of the nice extras a lot of shops have, to include: bandsaw, joiner, planer, sander, etc. I would like to get those things as soon as possible, but I also enjoy the challenge of truly learning my table saw and the challenge of being creative with it. I do have a router/router table which is not pictured. Aside from that I have the basics: Drills, jigsaws, hand sander, chisels, rasps/files, and a hand plane or two. For sharpening, I use the “Scary Sharp” method, with pretty good results. I am working on restoring a Stanley Bailey No. 3 right now that will be put into use as soon as I get it finished up. Another thing to note is that I still don’t have power to the shop yet (haven’t had time to trench out to run the line to the house) so I still use an extension cord off the house. We do what we have to. hehe.
##NOTE: This is no longer my workshop. I have moved into our 1 1/2 car garage. Needed more room.

Hi Chris,
Your shop has a lot of potential and you have a good start on it with your tablesaw. I appreciate the shop tour.
As you add more equipment and cabinetry to your shop how about posting some updates?

I will definately do that. It’s kind of slow going right now, but I am working a few deals for some equipment. Mainly a 16” Delta bandsaw. Hopefully it will be in the picture soon. I have quite a bit of rough sawn peices that I would love to start using for some outdoor furniture.

Thanks guys, I’m looking forward to getting in the shop this afternoon to get finished up on my neices table. The wife said it needs to be ready this week so I guess I better stop building storage and finish it up.
