So I was finishing my box joint box and I didn’t know how i wanted the lid to be attached to the box.It was out of hinges or dial rods. I picked dial rods so I drilled three holes about a 1/4 deep and put the dial rods in it. But one of the rods were a little smaller so I didn’t know if i should just make a new one or sand it down to be even with box. at that point they were already glued in the holes so I just sanded it down to be even and it still looks great and the lid is secured.

nice save, chris. Don’t be afraid to snap a few pictures with your phone to help illustrate what you’re talking about. and don’t say your phone can’t take pictures…..
