I just ordered the Vega PRO 50 Table Saw Fence System for my rigid table saw. I have been wanting a new, better fence for years. The factory fence always gave me headaches. No matter what I did it would not hold square to the blade and to make it worse it would creep over time towards the blade. After yesterday’s kick back, albeit not related to the fence, I had to address the risks of having another kick back and its potential outcome.
I have been shopping around and researching fence for awhile and it was down to 3, incra, biesemeyer and vega.
Well with all the other things I need to obtain, as much as I would love to have the incra, at this time the funds required are needed elsewhere. Unfortunately, the same applied to the biesemeyer. I was able to get the vega for just over 250 clams. I have not really read or heard anything negative about the vega, I have read a lot of positive things though. I hope it performs as expected. Having 50 inch rip capacity seems surreal.
Should be hear in about a week. More later.

I have the Vega Utility 40” fence….. Love it!!!
I got mine on a Craigslist used C’man 113 saw.
When I called Vega, they sent out the manual ASAP at no cost. GREAT people to deal with.
I’m sure you will be pleased.

Where did you find this great deal? If it’s still around I may be ready to upgrade myself.

Amazon.
It was 299, but I chose free shipping and used reward points I had. Came to 260 when all done.
Original delivery date was 12/2 – 12/6. It showed up yesterday. Put the rails on today. I’ll finish tomorrow.
Even if I did not use the point I would have bought it. Could not justify the Incra or Beismeyer at more than 2x the price.
