We’ve been watching the Bear for over a week now, & the little birds haven’t shown up.
I think the bear didn’t meet the proper specifications, or the bird building code.
I also believe the Robins, & Squirrels may have scared them away.
It’s sitting too much out in the open, kind of low to the ground.
I’ve heard of birds starting a nest, & leaving it for a different location.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can see were the threshold of their door is wearing away, because it’s too punky.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, it was fun watching them as long as it lasted.
Here’s a short slideshow of the birds.

Hey Dick & Barb
This is the best Chickadees flick I’ve ever seen. My wife and I like to watch the different antics of the birds in our yard also. Don’t let the press get hold of this or there will be a headline”BIRD DEFEETS BEAR”

if you could elevate it to at least 6 feet, the wrens would like it.

Thanks Guys.
I think the poor old Bear is scared of height,
besides, I don’t think there’s strength in the wood to try put it on a post.
I don’t think they would trust the squirrels.
