A mother Squirrel took over one of our bird houses, & had Three kittens.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the proud Ma Ma.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Enjoying the penthouse patio.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It’s sure crowded in here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One morning I was kneeling on the dock, & this baby came over by me. I grabbed my camera to get his picture. He proceeded to climb down the retaining wall blocks to get a drink of water. He fell in, & then scampered away, totally embarrassed. I got a few shots of his predicament.

Getting a drink the hard way.

OOPS ! I fell in. Boy that was COOL !

I want my Ma Ma !

Thanks for the photos, looks by the green growth on the bird house it’s been there a while. Squirrels sometimes get a bad name for burrowing into attics and such. But they are a fascinating creature to sit and watch. We have one that lives in a neighbor’s tree we’ve been seeing for about 4 years now. We call him Bobby because has a stub tail about 1” long. He occasionally comes over and drinks out of the garden pond and eats the cat’s food on the porch.

They can keep you entertained, that’s for sure. We had one that hopped like a Kangaroo, & we discovered that his right paw was missing. We named him Lefty.
I managed to get one good picture of him.
