Ever since I seen the review on the Triton Routers, I just had to get one. What’s a better time than on your birthday. Barb & I have an agreement about birthday gifts. We usually choose something we desire. That’s all the surprise we need. It arrived here two days before, so I’ve been holding back on reporting this to you Lumberjocks.
After examining it in my hands, I have to say it’s the Cadillac of all of the Routers.

I’ll be using this machine in my router table, but I forgot to order a mounting plate, which won’t be here until tomorrow. I’ve been moving real slow at making an heirloom wedding gift, so it’s a secret. That’s what it’s first trial run will be.

Dick – Congratulations on your new toy! Thanks for the link for an excellent review on the Triton router. I have had my eye on this router for a while.

Very good Dennis. Maybe he can put a reverse switch on the router. Or maybe just plug it in the oposite way. Have to grind the wider edge off the plug first.

(That’s a Tim Allen – Tool Time trick)

Well since it was Dick’s birthday and I had nothing else to do, I took out my newest unused router and made some mortise’s using my newest jig this is my next router I’ve got three routers so far, and I plan on running my own review on routers in the future. And I wont be pimping out the Aussie Routers, Cause Don does enough of that as it is.

Obi:

Got a blue one, going for a green one. Shure you don’t need an orange one. They’d all look good sitting on the shelf :>)

I’ve seen a red one out there too. You guys are full of it. One thing I found out, the Ausies haven’t convert us to metric bits, YET !
I also figured that I won’t have to bolt it under my table, it’ll hang there by itself. LOL

Dick:

I did purchase the 8MM router bits that Leigh Dovetail Jig people have, because the are sturdier than 1/4” bits for small dovetails.

Karson, I got a red one and a green one and a blue one, and I want another green one that fits my table better, and a yellow one just to see how they work, and now I want the “Self-hanging, reversable, multi-speed, plunging, Aussie Metric one”, cause this peer pressure is more than I can stand.
