I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think I’ve turned into a complete Lumberjocks Junky, “Just ask my Sweety.”
One example, I used to have my homepage set too Google News, that doesn’t seem to interest me as much anymore, so now Lumberjocks is my homepage.
I’ve noticed in the past few weeks the members have loosened up with their comments, which I think is nice to see. When I first joined back in August, 2006, there were quite a few views of my postings, “http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/Chipncut/projects ” but very few comments. It’s been more rewarding , and beneficial to me when I see comments, and I imagine the rest of you feel the same.
I suppose you’ve noticed I’ve been adding more projects lately. I hope you don’t mind. I have so many things I’d like to share with you, so I’ve been posting a variety of projects to prevent boredom to you.

I hear ya, Dick. My website is still my homepage, because I have so many things there, but I have the great big Lumberjocks banner in the middle of the page so I don’t have to hunt for the little Lumberjocks link I used to have. I used to go to my yahoo mail secondly, but now I just go to Lumberjocks.com, because most of my mail is from Lumberjocks. And I too, have recently just spoken my heart. Like there have been some things that i didn’t like, but didn’t comment on them. Doesn’t mean that they aren’t good craftsmanship, I just didn’t like them. Like Don’s $75,000.00 Colonial Hutch… Well, until I read that his brother made it 43 years ago, and then all-of-a-sudden, I found it rather intriguing.
There has never been a website with a Forum kind of setting that felt so much like home.
All with the same attitude toward making stuff out of sticks (mostly) I’m also loosening up. I thought the acrylic stool was too cool.
The Copper Entertainment Center, and even your OSB chest. I will still stick to the things with natural wood grains, but Art is Art, even if it doesn’t have a wood grain.

Dick, keep posting projects! I for one get a lot of motivation and inspiration from seeing everyone’s work. Very humbling experience to be exposed to such a vast amount of talent. For me, this is a vast opportunity to share and learn!

Yes, while this isn’t my homepage, I’m spending just about as much time here, as all the other sites I visit combined.
Nice to see more comments and interaction, the only furstrating thing now is that so much is happening it’s hard to keep up. The view all activities has been very helpful in that regard.

Interesting comment, Dick. I was a little discouraged at first, because a number of my early project post received no comments. Perhaps I wrongly assumed that these were not liked after reading your observation about members ‘loosening up”.

I enjoy seeing what others have accomplished-today or yesteryears. I don’t expect to have everyone make a comment everytime I do. I add when I have something to offer then drool the rest of the time! Keep it all coming Dick and everyone else. Wonderful projects and great people sharing.

Thanks for the tip Martin, I’ll do just that, it should save me some extra moves.
