It’s really something, how time flies when you’re having FUN!

It just seems like yesterday. We’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This picture will show you the start of our retirement journey.
This Woody Woodpecker Hat was awarded me at a retirement party in my honor,
along with a block of wood to chisel on in my leisure time. LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some photos of projects I did in the early days of my leisure time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The new deck on the West side of our cabin, shortly after completion.
Notice: How the trees have since grown. These are volunteers, I didn’t have to plant them.
This is the deck it replaced. What an improvement!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We have finished many more projects in those 20 years, if you want to view more,

check our LJs GALLERY here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By the way, I forgot to mention the most important part of this Blog
MY “SWEETIE” twisted my arm, & forced me to buy some new toys to celebrate this occasion.
I always try to please her, so I obliged to her request with a HUGE SMILE.
Then I went on a shopping spree.*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out this handy helper.

Loghorse Log Jaw attachment.

Work Table

Foldable Plywood Jaw extension.

Check out this VIDEO.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In order to please her some more. I bought one of these.
JessEm Zip Mortise Mill System
Another Video.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I MADE HER DAY< BARB WAS VERY HAPPY.

THAT’S ALL FOLKS!!!!!

Congratulations on your 20th anniversary in retirement Dick.
Funny that should come today; this is my very first full day of retirement.
I sure hope I’m having as much fun as you in 20 years.

Thanks for the post!
