Location: Chicago, Illinois

I've enjoyed woodworking and fine craft for a number of years. My interest began after attending the American Craft Expo in Evanston, Illinois about 15 years ago. I've since taken a few woodworking classes and more recently used the woodshop facilities through the Chicago Park District.

I'm in the process of setting up a shop in my father's garage in Evanston (it's larger than mine and he doesn't use it). I'll post some photos as this project develops.

Hello and thanks everyone for the welcomes. I’m fairly new to woodworking. I’ve taken a few classes and most recently was using a Chicago Park District woodshop. I’m hoping to set up my own shop this summer. If anyone in the Chicago-area has any tools they’d like to get rid of, please let me know!
