I am a manufacturing engineer a few years away from retirement - end of 2020.

I have 35 years in CNC machining, programming, manufacturing, machine purchasing, processing. At this time I work in gage manufacturing and work to tolerances down to single millionths of an inch.

I have work at Johnson & Johnson, Genzyme Medical (manufacturing), Borg Warner Automotive, Winchester, and a few others.

I am a CAD / CAM / CNC kinda guy - BUT, also hand cut dovetails, hand plane, hand saw, and all the power tools.

I use all sorts of materials from exotic woods, to plastics, to soft metals and also domestic woods.

I like all sorts of woodworking, but my favorite is my CNC.

I just sold a 24x24 CNC router, still have a MAXNC 10 for sale and the main event in my shop is a 51x51x10 CNC router with ER20 3hp water cooled spindle.

I like to use colors and have done some cool stuff with transtint, and paints. I custom mix all my own colors.
