« Part 6: I finallly figured it out! Part 7 of Things I have been doing. series Part 8: Catalog is done »

Well not only have the past few days been very hot, but very busy. At least I have been inside doing much of the work. However, much of the work I have been doing has caused me to use my English skills for writing and what little Graphic Design training I have had from college helping me. Needless to say, I am becoming “brain-dead.” I do think I am getting somewhere though.

We have decided to hire someone to work for CE Woodworks since I cannot keep up with the cleaning and organizational part right now. It’s funny though…it is our son whom has just gotten his drivers permit and is now getting a taste of the real world. Jaun decided we were going to officially hire Dustin to do some work around here that Jaun does not have time for (since he is over the road most days) and eventually he is going to learn the wood preparations before cutting! This will save plenty of time for me to cut instead.

As for the web site, I have changed the way it looks completely and have now added links. I am very excited over this and proud of what I am accomplishing. I am also designing a printed catalog to mail out to those that request one. In fact I was suppose to have done this months ago. I had promised a friend in California that I would send her one since she does not use the computer. Now I have a paper and pencil in hand and trash on the floor.

I certainly hope everyone is keeping cool these days, I know it is difficult this year, but just remember how much we all complained about the cold. Shees…we will never learn. Have a great and productive day all!

Oh, and please, check out the newly designed page: www.cewoodworks.com

Your site looks really good, Cherie! Believe me, I know how busy getting a business set up and keeping it running can be. I am happy to hear that you are hiring someone to help you. You will feel much better knowing that there is someone who can pick up in places that you can’t get to. Otherwise you will burn yourselves out.

Hang in there and do what you can. Remember to take time for yourself to enjoy what you do. You are well on your way to a good start and I am here cheering for you!

Sheila :)

Cherie, you have a very nice web site. Keep up the good work.

My hired hand is going to have the day off 2morrow, so I am going to hit the saw for a bit and take time away from the computer, at least the working part of it. LOL. Thank you for the compliments on the web site!
