« Part 8: Puttin it together - Very Impressed - Lexus Quality Fit and Finish Part 9 of SawStop Contractor Model Purchase from Cradle to Shop series Part 10: Ending Comments and Unexpected Test of the SawStop Technology »

The Lexus quality ( I’m a Lexus fan) fit and finish I have been touting about SawStop held true to completion.

I am glad that I bought the 36 in rails and not the 52 in. Would have been too big for my one car gargage shop. You need some room for sure for the 52 in. I am amazed that the mobile base works smoothly and easily lifts the entire 375 LBs including the 36 rails. That’s is nice surprise. I thought that once you mounted the extention rails you couldn’t move the saw very easily….... but I was wrong. I also got the the 30 in outfeed table but I’m not going install it. Just don’t have enough room. I’ll save it for use in a biigger shop of the future.

Still haven’t cut anything since I still need to check out a few more things first. Nearing completion and it’s been fun.
