Various bad photos of my shop!
Photo1 – My mortiser, BS, jointer, router table, a misc. DC connection

Photo3 – Handwork / fitting area
Photo4 – Alternate handwork shot, with sharpening area in the back

I can’t get decent angles for better shots, but here it is…

Hi Barry;
That is quite well equipped!
Too bad I didn’t see an ezee-feed hanging somewhere!
Sure would make cutting that plywood much easier!
Very nice shop in spite of that short coming. LOL
Have a great New Year!!

I really do need an EZ-Feed… It’s on my list!
Your next product should be an EZEE-Feed lolly column eliminator…
Happy New Year to you, too!

Barry, you have a nice looking shop to work in. It sure does look like you have a lot going on in there. You have nice selection of tools to work with as well. It reminds me somewhat of my shop. Right now I have about 50 bf of maple “stored” on my miter bench and some additional “stored” on top of my jointer that I have to move whenever I need to use the jointer.
How many sq. feet do you have to work in?
Thanks for posting the pictures. I enjoyed visiting with you.

“How many sq. feet do you have to work in?”
~750 sq./ft, broken by a center staircase and lolly columns.
The wood on the jointer, toolbox, workmate, etc… is not stored. It’s a QSWQ built-in under construction. It all goes with those pointy plywood boxes in the center of the room. The wood on the jointer had beads routed into it about 15 minutes before the photos.
My wife bought a new camera yesterday, so I thought I’d put up some photos. I didn’t clean or pose anything.
Thanks for visiting, and Happy New Year!

Barry: a great shop. I remember those days of working in the basement. It was never easy.
Lots of nice tools but no place to keep them. Work safely.

Wayyyyyyyy too cluttered for me, that would drive me nuts stumbling allover stuff and not being able to find anything, you defineatly need a bigger shop, when I can’t find the tablesaw ( the heart of a workshop ) something is horribly wrong. I did manage to see a nice new JDS dust collector though.

Guys! It’s really not as cluttered as it looks! <g> I stumble on nothing and everything has a home. As I stated earlier, this posting was a spur of the moment thing, in the middle of a 12’ built-in project. The “clutter” is THE WORK! <g> The shop is a 24×36 room.
The camera seemed to oddly compress the distances. If you look at the DJ-20, there’s 10’ clear on each side of the cutterhead, and full-width boards clear the bandsaw and mortiser parking locations. It’s almost 10’ from the drill press to the cyclone. The lumber rack has 14’ stock on the top shelf.
You can’t find the table saw, because I didn’t take a picture of it… There’s a General 650 butted against a 4’x8’ outfeed table to the right of the clamp rack. I deleted that photo ‘cause it was blurry.

its ok bbp…wide angle shots flatten distances…the wider the angle the flatter the picture goes…

Thanks, D!
I didn’t know that about wider lenses, as I’m the world’s worst photographer. The camera has a 20mm lens.

Great looking shop. I’m afraid I have to admit I was drawn in by your avatar, which I find hilarious. Please keep posting!
