I'm 28 years old, I've been married since 2002 to my beautiful wife; who is currently expecting, and due in Aug. I have always built things but I decided in college to leave school and seek formal training in woodworking. I attended The American Woodworking Academy near St.Louis, MO.
After completing my Masters certificate I was hired to teach at the Academy and I also taught continuing Ed classes for the local community college.
In 2004-2005 my parents bought some land in Sadieville, KY and offed to let me put a shop on their property. We jumped at the chance to come home, open a business, and start a family.
My shop is 30'x60' and is outfitted with Delta, Powermatic and FesTool equipment. I love woodworking and talking to others about woodworking. My favorite style is Greene & Greene but I take projects in all shapes and sizes.
My wife and I live on a small (6 mares) thoroughbred breeding farm in Versailles,KY where I am the farm manager. My wife is in Physical Therapy at a rehab hospital in Lexington.

Welcome to LJ. I like your work it is great. I have been wanting to go down that way to Berea and check out the art. You are in a beautiful area of the country.

Congrats on the family life.

Thanks Todd,
If you do make it to Berea think about checking out Kelly Mehler’s new school. He and Brian Boggs are unbelieveable craftsman.

I have been wanting to see Brian Boggs’ work first hand. Berea is just a real center for art from what I understand, and my wife and I are really into the art scene.
