Ok so it took WAY longer than I thought it would to build my first table saw… But boy will it be worth it!

The good:

1) Saw built – wooooohoooo!
2) Workbench materials are present and just waiting to be put together. It should be noted that it’s a HF prefab but hey – I want a bench that I can use, get a feel for what features I need (want) and then build one. I needed a reference point and with a sale plus 20 percent off… I found one.
3) The shop Super, Zero, wouldn’t leave me alone until we went out there today… Thus, the ST was finished. (Believe me, if you knew my dog… Lil princess always manages to get her way. Ha!)

The bad:

1) Contacted Ridgid about the whole three wheel system to roll the TS around on. I was told that some had four, some had 3 and when they studied the design there was no problem with only using one moveable caster instead of 4. Not to mention the pedal to disengage the wheels now is positioned on the right side, under the longest part of the table. Yep, that’s where it says to mount it. Not in the front where it would make sense. Any one have any suggestions on that? Am I as SOL as the reply email said I was?

Id say it was a fantastic day all in all. Hopefully I can get that bench done tomorrow in time to make my first cut on the saw. I’m excited to get started!
