Part 1: Getting an idea.
I thought that some of you LJs might be interested in seeing a carving project come together from start to finish so this years large carving project I will bolg for you. Part 2: Roughout and Pictures.
After I get the idea from a picture and the drawings are done it’s time for the roughtout of the basic elements and too get tons of reference pictures that will be used throughout this project. I should point out that I’m going to use all natural woods so some thought had to go into want woods will look good together, contrast, along with which woods will give the affects of realism.
