St. Catharines, ON
Canada
My shop. Garage provided by parents.
On November 12th I finished my new Roubo/Scandinavian workbench. You can see the first entry for my bench build blog here http://lumberjocks.com/CartersWhittling/blog/23792, and the finished bench here http://lumberjocks.com/CartersWhittling/blog/26611 . The garage is about 12’ x 24’ with two garage doors on either side. I have been given an Inca table saw, a drill press, thickness planer and dust collector, aswell as other small tools. I have a 16” Laguna bandsaw which is the most useful tool in my shop. I also have a Jet mini lathe with a homemade bed extension. I am currently in the process of building a tool chest for my shop as well. The build of my tool chest can be seen here http://lumberjocks.com/CartersWhittling/blog/series/4735.

Carter, you have a nice looking shop. You have added a good looking workbench to your shop. That is a tool that is on my short list of projects. I currently am getting by with a 4×8 assembly table but it is taking up way too much room for my shop. I also like the lathe that you have in there. This model is high on my list of tools since I can see the fun that I am missing out on by not having one in my shop.
Thanks for the tour. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

Looks like you are off to a great start! I really like that little Jet lathe… I bet it’s a joy to turn on that!

You have a pretty sweet set up. The Laguna 16 is definitely a sweet bandsaw! You are a blessed man to have on! They are the best!

I know that many days have passed since You posted Your workbench and screw threader, I have been trying to find time to get into it! I also love Your Signature! In this age we see these things far less. Have a Blessed Day! Howard
