I enjoyed and learned from your video on the "Tap and Screw Jig". I am a retired machinist and have been wood working for 40 years. You impressed me with your wood working knowledge and teaching ability. You must have had wonderful teachers. But I find your love of our Lord your greatest attribute. I look forward to watching more videos from you. Thanks

What I want to know is, how did you, a young man, get so accomplished so fast :). From one newbie to another, welcome to lumberjocks. I watched your videos with amazement. Right now I don't have a real workbench I just have a work surface and I am vise deprived. Your workbench and vise builds are just what I was looking for. I will be asking questions later when I get ready to build my own workbench and vises :) Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

I really like your videos on building a Tap and Screw Jig. I watched the three that you have posted, but I think I must be missing at least one or two other ones. The last video I saw ended with you talking about making the cutter, mortise, handle, etc.

I was planning on watching all your tutorial videos before I start making some 2-1/2" diameter screws for my upcoming workbenches.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself just about 2 years ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ's as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
I apologize for the late welcome but I am currently serving overseas and don't have a lot of spare time on my hands.

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
