Hey lumberjocks. Today I got my new bandsaw. Its a 16” Laguna, with a 2.5 hp motor. I got it used from my uncle, its only a few years old. It has had relatively little use and mostly light use aswell. I got it for about half the price he paid for it. It comes with the 1” resaw blade that is on the saw in the pictures and with a half dozen or more other sized blades. It has a 12.5” resaw capacity and from the times I used it at my uncle’s shop it cut through a 10” wide walnut log with no difficulties. I now have to get an electrician in to bring a 220v wire into our garage.

Very nice! I am truly envious of you. I just went down to the shop and yelled at my junky, inferior band saw after seeing yours :)

How many men did it take to move that monster?

I am looking foward to building many projects with it. The electrician came today to check out the situation and will be coming in about 2 weeks to bring a 220 and new breaker box into the garage. And to answer beginner1 it takes one man and a dolly cart if your risky, but 2 men and a dolly cart to move it safely.

Congratulations. I wish you many beautiful projects with that saw. Use it in good health.
