New workshop still under construction. I built a 24×24 garage for my woodshop and a place to park the wife’s car in the winter. So far my tool are as follows: Delta contractor table saw, Craftsman 10” Radial Arm Saw, Delta 12” Planner, Portra Cable Router in table and plunge base, Craftsman bench top drill press. I have plans to purchase a joiner and a dust collections system to add to the shop. When I built the shop you can see in the pictures that I have a lot of room for all the components. Most of my projects are furniture in nature, although I do a small amout of carvings and put them into heirloom projects.

Thanks for sharing. The lumber rack looks interesting in the photo.

isn’t it nice to have a space big enough to do things?
Although our basement is a nice size, it sure what nice to work outside this weekend where we could swing lumber around without hitting walls/posts/ etc.

Howdy neighbor, I’m only about 70 miles east of you, inbetween Lansing and Owosso, a little town called Laingsburg. I go through G. R. all the time on my way to Muskegon to go fishing on the big lakee. Maybe I’ll drop in for a cup of joe sometime. Very nice Shop, by the way. Jockmike2

Hi Capn Ron,

I was about to comment on the lumber rack as well until I read your comment. Mine looks like that occasionally- Right before a load of wood rolls off it and then I have to straighten everything back up. Any chance you have some updated photos you would care to post?

This looks like a nice place to do woodworking.

Have your say...
