Well, its been a while since I started this blog and added the last installment. Its been a crazy summer, started a new job spent a lot of time away from the shop, but I did get the bench finished. The top took a lot of time to level out. I actually borrowed a power hand planner from a buddy to do most of the work. If anyone has access to one of these tools, I highly recommend them, I’ve used it on a few other projects too. Anyway, I got the top leveled and drilled all my dog holes, installed a quick release vise and used some oak dowel to make a few sets of dogs and a multiple of accessories. The first project I built with my new bench was at small box with hand cut dovetails. I probley cut a dozen sets of pins and tails before I started the box. I just love the look of variable sized connections. And for those of you who are asking, pics are still on the way.

I look forward to seeing the pictures. The small box sounds interesting too!
