We had heavy Thunder storms with tornado warnings move thru last night. Woke up to find had half an ash tree lying across the drive. So seein the top was gone I might as well cut down the tree and turn it into boards. I was planing on cutting down about 1/2 dozen 16-20” dia cherry’s to start the drying process. so I’ll add this ash to the mill run. Trunk is 24”dia and got 2 good lengths, 1-8’ & 1-7’, rest will go into the firewood pile. first 2 pic’s are the tree down before its cut up, 3rd I thought I’d throw-in a pic of 1 of the cherry’s that are on the list of my bedroom furniture.
With the Ash I’m thinking a Shaker side board or hutch.
