My shop is a 20’ by 20’ former garage. It has evolved over the years (as all shops do) but is presently being transformed into a more mobile form. We’re beginning to think of downsizing and I’m fairly sure that I won’t have a dedicated shop space in the future (but you never know). So all of my equipment (except the table saw) has gradually been mobilized. The radial saw is flanked by cabinets that move on their own as needed but store together. The flip top cabinet houses the spindle sander and planer (an original Ryobi AP10!). The router cabinet has always been mobile in order to facilitate material of any length. Generally I have tools stored with their processes (drills in the drill press cabinet) etc. All cabinets, table saw and work tables are at the same height. And yes, I do seem to have a “thing” about the Jet color scheme!

That is a superb shop! Great space and very well equipped!

Very nice shop. I hate to think that you may have to give this up. I would be a shame!

Very nice shop. I like the hands free tool shut off bars you made. Nice touch!

Well done! Very interesting the way you made a ‘cross-bar’ shut off for your router table, great idea.
