Just a garage-shop.

I park the truck outside and she can still get her car in the other side…..........IF IF IF I remember and decide to put everything back where it belongs.

I have spent about a year organizing the new shop…..... on and off.

Never had the time before.

Gave all my craftsman tools to the boys…......the tools served me well for decades…......and will do the same for them.

Treated myself to:

Unisaw (with Shark-Guard)

Delta Dust collection mounted on Thien Dust Collector (55 gal barrel)

Great super duper router table….......all tricked out…..... my absolute favorite tool

DeWalt planer

Sold the Jointer – never used it

Sold the bands-saw – never used it…....... I don’t do any re-sawing and have a nice Delta Scroll Saw for the few curves I do.

Made a crappy drill press table and I have already ordered T-Track for a new one

Air Compressor – 100 ft of hose that will reach most anywhere on the place…....... one of the great things about how the shop turned out was that the compressed air just naturally blows the dust right out the two big garage doors. Really like that.

Put an overhead retractable cord directly over the work table

Built the obligatory LJ lumber cart.

Built the obligatory LJ cross-cut sled

Built the obligatory LJ dado jig

Mounted the obligatory Kreg pocket jig

Built a tool bench and storage for my hand and power tools

Modified a desk to use as a work bench. It turned out to work really well

Gave EVERY ONE of my Phillips screws to the boys….........and treated myself to all square-drive McFeely goodies.

Anyway….......... I really like my shop.

I can find anything pretty fast.

And I hate having to move a bunch of stuff to get to what I want….......and I pretty much eliminated that.
