building a counter/desk top… wanting to use Klear Kote product for finish… my desire is to have a 1/8” to 1/4” thick finish on top and edges… i can invision if i turned the counter on its side then poured the edges first… but what materials can be used to create a dam that the product wont’ adhere to???

I used Max Clear (its a 2 part epoxy also) for a bath counter over some shattered marble I epoxied back together, I let the epoxy drip over the edge after wetting it then let it dry and sanded the bottom drips off. Had a chip on the edge and used blue tape to make a dam, after it dried most of it just peeled off, shaped it to match the edge and wet sanded with 600 grit then buffed and polished, came out great
