Hard to determine my skill set but let's just say i had to take a few years off for a few overseas "tours"...I guess you could say I am an experienced beginner. Having fallen back in love with this Craft long ago,Now at almost 30 with so much behind me and hopefully much more in front , I am Looking to start the Buisness side of things, However, hurdles must be jumped and hoopes passed through, I will settle for nothing less than my best effort and strongest determination.
I have been fortunate enough to have a partner who supports me although doesn't quiet understand how I can devote so much time to reading, podcasting, staring at tools and pics of wood and furniture, but she does back me up.I havent established a stand alone shop yet, Wanting a 30' x 55', i do however have another luxury,a condo with plenty of space right outside my front door,in an upstairs loft,i think the measurments are 17'x65',anywho. I am not traditional by handworking materials, i am a powertool guy primarily, however this is not good enough for me. Long have I seen the perks of both and i am becoming more fascinated with what plays where when it comes to mixing and matching hand and power tools. I have to admit it I am A Huge fan of all things woodworking, shows especially and got started by watching Norm,Now its Good Guy Marc Spagnuolo AKA The wood whisperer, David Marks,James Krenov,Sam Maloof and ironically about a million unknown ww whose work has inspired me.So any way thanks to all who do this craft, and for inspiring me to be a part of it. I seek knowledge from you,in return i promise my best use of it. Thanks, C.A.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
