27 yrs old, Born & raised in Parkersburg, WV. Living in Mobile, AL and work as a marine pipe designer. I've designed pipe systems on numerous government and commercial vessels at sea today including Aircraft Carriers(CVN78), Littoral Combat ships(USS Freedom), Radar Ships, Tugs, Barges, and even an Egyptian Navy ship our government is giving them. I've discovered woodworking in the past 2 years by first deciding to build my kids a swingset and fort then trying my hand at building my son a train/play table. Now I've got the knack to learn more and make more complicated designs and use other woods than what I can find at the local home center. I've got almost any tool I need, including a jointer, thickness planer, 220v table saw, drill press, & bandsaw as my main garage pieces. I've also got multiple pneumatic tools cause I'm a car junky as well.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
