I’ve only been using tools like this for a few years now and have been waiting for my time to have a woodshop and start building whatever seems of interest at the time in order to build towards the skills and type of project results I envision.

I’m inspired by how people use grains, types of woods together, and beautiful finishes that highlight the natural beauty.

Anyhow, here is my shop… I’m lucky enough to be setup in a 100 year old barn that used to be a convenience store with a view of the Ocean :)

.. also, I Have my little helper who just LOVES making sure to taste all the scrap pieces that fall to the floor!

Thanks guys! RedRyder: Yea, though I will be putting in better lights with better direction control. I put lights on both sides of things to try and remove shadows from my marking tools :)

Hey Wade,
I absolutely love your shop. It looks so comfortable there.

That’s a cozy setup, all right. I like that small drill press in the corner. And when you get tired of splinters you can unwind with a little dart practice.

That is a great shop you have there and such a beautiful location. Most of us have bench dogs that fit in the top of the work bench and I see yours sits below!!
You sure have a good selection of tools and lots of room. I love those old wood floors!!

Can you add shot from the outside showing the barn with that big open door? I love old barns.

I’ll bet you have a boat stored around there some place for when there is no wood working to do. what playground you have!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Jim

Jim: No boats, though we’ve been talking about it :) ... I’ve also been looking at making one too!
I’ll get you a picture up soon enough!

Have your say...
