I hate burning beautiful pieces of wood that are left over from my projects. I use as much as I can and give away all I can, but so much builds up that I burn a pile of scrap almost every day. That hammock next to your shop is a great idea. Hard work doesn’t bother me, I can lay in a hammock and watch it all day.

The just build up don’t they. I find myself saving thin strips and short chunks. Don’t know why, maybe because of the original bdft price.

This spring I’ve got an old well pump tank to change out. When I remove it I’m going to make a Rocket grill. Then I’ll have a good burning venue for my scraps.

I have a pile headed for a friends woodstove today.
Might as well get some warmth from them, at least here in the North. . . :)

I took a bunch to a camping trip with friends
Every piece that went to the fire god had a story to tell
by the time it was all gone everyone there was glad for the warmth but
they said I could the story’s at home next time
