I designed a wood scrap tumbler but the motor made from a ceiling fan would just get faster and faster even with a dimer switch so… I used a old Montgomery Ward drill I had.

Love it. I’d like to make one that will hold sand to clean small arn pieces, nuts, bolts, etc. But really not any bigger than what you made, maybe a tad heavier.
