Just thought I would pass along this info. Grizzly was run a sale last week of their GO586, 2hp, 8” jointer for $595.00 plus shipping and I see now that they have 4 listed of ebay. They had them listed as close-outs. Here is the ebay link-http://cgi.ebay.com/Grizzly-8-x-75-Jointer-w-4-Blade-Cutterhead-NEW_W0QQitemZ280303297603QQihZ018QQcategoryZ67227QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Since I really couldn’t afford it right now since I had just bought a 3hp Craftsman radial arm saw, I have decided to sell the saw. It’s a really sweet saw, used very little. If anyone needs one in my area (ALABAMA) here is the ebay link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=170295520212&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=007

You’re selling your Craftsman Contractor Series Radial Arm Saw?! With accessories? I have the same saw in my shop & find it one of the most useful tools to have. I recently used it to quickly cut a cove for a couple of pieces of exterior molding. You can’t do that with a chop saw. And you can do so much more with a radial arm saw. One of the woodworking magazines that I subscribe to has a article in it with a fellow that has a radial arm saw set up permanently as a “radial router”. If possible, you should try to hang on to it.
