I'm a forester and entomologist by trade. I've been wanting to get into woodworking for a long time, and took the plunge when my father in law gave us his pristine Millers Falls/Langdon Acme mitre box with Disston saw. I've been acquiring (mostly antique) hand tools since then, and I'm trying to teach myself the traditional ways of working wood.
