This is the first time I have tried to post photos this way. I guess for the blogs I need to scale them down a bit…

You better show the finished mallet because it’s hard to figure out the final shape looking at it with all of the clamps.

Will do, Karson. I think it is kinda big at the moment the handle is about 14” long and the head is 3 1/2 T x 7 1/2 L and 2 1/4 W.

Yes , please post the progression.

Is it just me or does everyone look at all the projects and say to them selves.. ” Dang, I got to make me one of them”. Maybe the boss should put a spot in for “Future projects wish list” in the “My Home” sections It could be useful if you tag it right we could all search for others that want to make something. If several people decided to (build) try it at the same time, it might lead to some interesting discussions. Just a thought.

Yea Buckskin that is what I am doing now and it works. Its like when you dont have a tool you need (want), you find other ways around it until you can buy that new tool :)
