I have always been creative in some fashion or another. After designing an addition for my house and covering all the walls and ceilings with T&G cedar, I felt like I needed to build something else. But what??
2 years later I build my first box. Then I made a 7' thing to hang towels on (see it in my projects). Then I made a cue case for myself from walnut.
Now I have done my best to kick things into high gear be making custom cue cases of exotic hardwoods.
After joining Lumber Jocks and looking through all your incredible projects I have so many ideas in my head that I can barely get them on paper!
This is by far the most addicting site I have found to date!
Please visit my FB page to see many other pictures of the work I'm doing.

Hi Rick,
I posted a new thread to the woodworking designs area but it didn’t show up. How long does it take to see it posted?
Thanks,
Bill

Thank you all for welcoming me!
I hope I will be able to bring something to the table worth reading here. My father and brother are both into making furniture but I am just getting started in woodworking and I just don’t have the equipment to make large thing like that (yet). I have been adding to my workshop over the last year with my latest addition of a 25 year old 10” Craftsman table saw. A few months ago I picked up a almost un used band saw! I’m getting there but my funds don’t match my needs.
I have a vision of building a reputation for making the best high-end cue cases in the country. I have a long way to go but everything has to start somewhere!

I build a nice sized “porch” on the back of my house a few years ago and picked up this free standing fireplace for $100. I only wish I could have found one with a copper top!
I lined all the walls and ceiling with 6” T&G ceder to combat the moisture from the hot tub I installed out there. A natural stone surround and platform finish the area off nicely. It’s by far the largest wood working job I have ever tried!
