I suppose I am what most call a 'Weekend Warrior' – I hate that label though. I am a Navy veteran who served six years of honorable active duty service. My day job does not involve woodworking, but if I had my way I would do this for the rest of my life. I have always been mechanically inclined (I come from a construction family). I love building things with my hands and restoring beautifully engineered antiques. I am very passionate about woodworking and refuse to accept the impossible project. I have always been known as the guy that says "sure, why not", instead of "why?”. I am fascinated with historical woodworking and quality in general - the era when things were built right and made to last. If I had to sum up my passion for this trade, I would say I am the Rick Dale (American Restoration) of restoring beautiful projects, the Mike Holmes (Holmes on Homes) of doing things RIGHT and the Norm Abram of quality wood worksmanship. I love this site and I am proud to be part of this community. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or would like to pick my brain. Until then, stay tuned because I have only just begun.

Hi Richard, I do have the stack up of the molding I used on that surround. This site won’t let me send you a message. Do you use sketchup by google? Any questions email me at that way I can send you the stack up thru email. Stan
