When I got married, I realized that agreeing on furniture with my wife would be hard and that the more attached to something we where, the better off we'd be down the road when her refurbishing hankerings got hot. So together, we started designing furniture for the house.
We designed and made 1/2 a dozen pieces now. Recently, I got into SketchUp and found it useful for ensuring that we share the same vision for a piece.
