Part 1: So many ideas
My daughter was born on May 29th, 2012… my shop finally became fully equipt (for the most part) about 2 months before that…. I reached the end of a long renovation project (bathroom and nursery) about 2 days before she was born… so for the past several weeks I’ve been loosing sleep and changing diapers but still very little shop time. I suppose as she grows I will be able to sneak away and build a thing or two but for now… I’m enjoying this time with my bab...
Part 2: Much Appreciated
I try to make time a least a couple of times a week to come onto the website and look at the wonderful projects that people out there are putting their time into. It’s amazing that every time I look through the projects, there are so many great and beautiful things that people out there are creating. It’s so easy to loose sight of these kinds of things in day to day life. I think that’s why I enjoy building things, and not just out of wood… but anything. It brings such...
Part 3: New shop layout
I’ve finally had some time to get back in the shop and get some stuff going. I had an old workbench made of particle board and some 2×3 that was starting to sag. So I decided to take it out and plan something better. I had my chop saw and radial arm saw sitting on it and in the mean time they will move to some assembly carts that I had rolling around.
