« Part 7: So much to do ... Part 8 of Working title - LLB series no next part

Just a short blog as there’s not much left to do. I need to cut the slots to accept the bottom.

The end stop is cunningly sized so that the sides with legs don’t foul it. Slot 1.6 mm deep.

Final tape up ready for gluing

and glued up (PVA) with the top taped on (but obviously not glued) to maintain the box shape whilst drying.

Next time you see it will be when I’ve taken the top edges down a bit with 600 grit (they are razor sharp at the moment) and applied the final finish, posted as a project.

Be seeing you.

Looks real good. A little reminiscent of the stool stretchers used on the 3 legged stool.

Well done Martyn. I really didn’t like the big feet at odd angles like that at first but I figured “that’s art for you”.
....... then I realized that you were using two light sources…....... dohhhh!!
Looking forward to the project post. Thanks for the ride.

Well, the “thinking outside the box” lines are not very original anymore. But it’s true!

It reminds me of those paper boxes that twist flat. Very dynamic shape. Your craftsmanship is expanding as fast as your imagination!

Excellent work – thanks for taking us along.
