I seem to have caused some of this.

I will continue to post my own projects under the name Britboxmaker.

However I am collaborating with another LJ, Ross , on a few things and these will be posted under the name ‘MoleParty’. This is so that we each get equal billing for a project which we collaborate on.
He is good at ideas and the art side of things and I bring the building skill and problem solving side. Its not something I’ve done much before but I feel its interesting. Our first project, Bonfire, was posted today. Please let us know what you think of it.

I got fooled for sure.
In fact the first time I looked at it I spoted the EzMiter. I did not comment because “credit was not given”.

The second time I looked at it in the afternoon. I went ahhh!

Hope to see some more.

Looking forward to seeing the projects. Although I have always found your pieces very creative, hard to believe you present yourself as the maker and not an artist as well.

Collaborations are healthy for both sides involved, I believe. They help stimulate new ideas and thoughts that may otherwise have been overlooked through self-restrictions. You made yourself quite clear on the description. And the minute I spotted the box on the project page, I had no doubt it was a Martyn creation. :)

This is exciting for all of us!

Sheila

PS – It’s only confusing for people if they don’t read. I ‘got it’ right away when you told us! ;)

Collaboration brings new ideas & different designs. Looking forward to it.

By the way, I wish i had another LJ anywhere close to me that I could work with. Not many in my territory.

Hi Martyn,
How do you call a unity of minds whose excellence are beyond the limit? Superb…
When I first saw the bonfire, I concluded that it was yours but I was in doubt and surprise that someone had already surpassed your expertise. Later, the reality of your work is really there.
Hi Ross,
Teaming up with the expert… it will be beyond the limits. Welcome to LJ. Thanks for the same sharing to us those creations from both of you.
Cheers,

-- Bert
