I am a lucky man. I have a good woodworking buddy. He is a generous man. You all know him as Cozmo35 (aka Mike). A while ago he did an excellent scroll work Laundry sign for a relative of his and duly posted it on our site. I liked it and in a comment I joked, in an ofhand way, that I could probably do with one of those saying something like “Mad Professor tearing hair out over impossible design”. I was doing ‘The Impossible’ pattern at the time. I thought nothing more of it. Blow me down if he didn’t actually do it!
I never expected that.
Not only that I received it in the post today!
Mike is a very generous man. I hope he is not embarressed by me saying this out loud to everyone but it has to be said. I my little corner of the universe this kind of generosity does not go un-noted.
Here it is. In my little corner of the universe.

Thank you Mike. I owe you one, big time.

The beard and mustache seem to be trimmed. This must have been taken in your younger years.
Nice story,
