How about Ping Pong?
Our family has been wanting a ping pong table for a while now and we never picked one up. They are kinda large and we don’t have the space to leave it set up permantly and we don’t have the space to store it either, at least the kind with the wheels and all that attached. To buy an outdoor table gets pretty spendy.
I decided that I would use a piece of MDF to make a two piece top that can be set up on our “craft” table and taken down and stored in a much smaller space than a “real” ping pong table could be stored.
this was a fun project to build. It was simple, quick and the rewards in fun are HUGE!
The table is not “official” size, it’s smaller, 4’ x 8’ vs. the official size of 5’ x 9’. It is still pretty heavy even though the top is in half, 4’ x 4’, but it’s managable.
I hope that you enjoy the video.

An excellent project with the finest team of builders one could ever hope for. This table will become part of the family memories-the build as well as the many matches played on it.

Absolutely perfect. What a great Dad! This is a great idea for so many reasons including the storage ability. I have dust piles that take up more room than this will. Once again it was a joy to watch your quiver at work! One of these days you’ll have to show your better half assisting as well. Great job.
Peace and Blessings to you and yours!
