I've been seriously bitten by the but now, and amid some large projects (building a quilting frame for my wife, for example) I've recently turned my attention to small projects that I can do in a few days' time.

By day I'm a software engineer. I live in Colorado these days but have also called Iowa, Kansas, Virginia and Australia home. And in a very real sense, my wife and I "still call Australia home" as it was our first real home after we married in 2001, and until we moved back to CO in 2006.

And I'm proud to be part of one of the friendliest communities on the web!

Bret . . . there are a couple of folks here that only use hand tools. Names escape me now.

Welcome to LJ and be sure to post your projects.

Cheers.
