Well, I picked up this bandsaw off Craigslist last week for $40. After driving about 30 minutes from my house, I didn’t want to come home empty handed. It’s not going to win any beauty contest, but for the price I feel it was a good deal. As you can see it needs some work cleaning it up and definitely needs new tires. Will get some polyurethane tires (which cost almost what I paid for the saw) and a link best and some new blades and see how it works out. Will need to figure out something for dust collection too. I’m excited about the possibilities that are opened up now that I have a bandsaw. Maybe make some bandsaw boxes or some new style of cutting boards now.

With some TLC that will make you a fine band saw.

If you can get it to cut well (and you prolly will) that will be a great deal. Don’t forget to install a tire brush.

My son has this bandsaw, and needs a new casting for the upper guide assembly. Do you have the manual? Have you ever attempted to find any parts for it?
Thanks.
Jon
