« Part 3: Trim, Vise, Dust Manifold Part 4 of Table Saw Station series Part 5: Downdraft and Electrical »

I got some time to finish up the casters and base over the last few days. The base is now complete so when the station is lowered, it sits on a very solid base. The casters are mounted to three laminated sheets of plywood, and raised using a 5” bolt that was threaded into the plywood. The bolt then pushes on a wooden rod that extends the caster down on the floor. It seems to work well and only takes a few minutes to raise the station, move it to a new location, and lower back onto the base.
