Anyone know where to get Epoxy Spray paint – by the can – NOT online? I want to use it for refinishing hand planes.

I purchased some from Ace Hardware a while back, I’m not sure if they still stock it.

NAPA auto or Auto Zone has some black epoxy that is good for engines. 500 degrees F? I used it on my valve covers on my BMW RT100 and it’s never looked better.

I was always under the impression that “epoxy” requires a “catalyst” and therefor curious as to how one can buy “epoxy paint” in a “spray can” ...............or just a can of it ?

“epoxy”.....................needs at least 2 cans or one can and a “squeeze bottle” ?........or I missed something??

I have bought 2 part epoxy paint at auto paint stores. Get ready to pay way over a 100 bucks a quart for the stuff, and also be aware of the masks that you will have to wear.

Thanks guys – appreciate the help.

Moron & Pete_Jud – these paints are simple spray-cans of paint. Krylon makes them, but I didn’t want to order from Amazon (and didn’t want to buy 6 cans at once either).
