Since I have had both shoulders operated on this year & am under surgeon’s orders not to overdo it, it appears I will have to modify my shop. I will probably not be working on large projects for some time so will concentrate on smaller projects when I’m allowed back in the “man cave”. I will also be thinking of selling my Shopsmith & accessories in favor of some smaller benchtop tools. Mentioned this to several local friends & they are getting the word out for me. It has been a useful tool but some of the setups will be difficult for me to achieve. I suspect there are a few others in the group who have also made accomodations due to age or physical problems. With any luck I will post some info & photros of the new arrangement when I have had time to make the changes. So I guess its “updates as they occur” for now.

Sorry to hear of your woes. Sounds like you are keeping your chin up. You will flourish in your new/altered pursuits, new avenues yield new joys!
Good luck! Looking forward to future updates!

hang in there, and don’t give up. Remember, adversity makes master inventors of us all.
