My workshop is an repurposed, oversized 1 car garage. When I bought the place it already had a bench on the back wall that is used for my drill press and tool storage (aka the catch all). The centerpiece of my shop is an OLD Delta Table saw/joiner combination. While I love the soul of that old machine I would love to upgrade it to something newer. The adjustable table can be a PITA and the fence has to be checked for parallel each adjustment. I also have an older 10” RAS and a POS 10” bandsaw.

I also have a “new-fangled workbench” and a over height bench that doubles as an outfeed table for my RAS.

The newest tool in my shop is a Ryobi benchtop drill press.

I also have a Harbor Freight 2HP dust collector but that is still in the box until I can afford to get the plumbing for it.

Scott, how about posting some pictures of your shop when you get a chance? We really enjoy taking a look at other shops.

Let me also welcome you to LJs as well. It is good to have you on board as a member of the group.

Scott, it looks like you are off to a pretty good start on your shop. You have built a good looking workbench which should serve you well for many years. Thanks for the tour. I enjoyed taking a look at your shop.

Intersting bench! Looks very usable. That’s the next project for my space. Just need to move a few more of the wifes boxes into storage. (aka the local dump)
